Services
Duration: 1.5 hours. Your horse’s journey starts with a comprehensive evaluation of movement and biomechanics. By observing walk and trot patterns, we ensure every massage stroke serves a specific purpose. This foundational session incorporates a full review of medical history and workload to tailor our care. Using professional palpation techniques, we release deep-seated tension and localised soreness, delivering a customised therapeutic experience that promotes relaxation.

Terms & Conditions
To ensure your horse receives the highest standard of care, please review our booking terms and conditions.
By confirming an appointment with Phantom Petrissage, you agree to the conditions listed below.
Â
Safe Environment:
It is your responsibility to provide a safe, dry, and clean working area for the treatment. If the horse is wet, dirty, or presents a risk to safety, the session may be cancelled and a charge applied.

Horse's Temperament:
Please be open about your horse's temperament and behaviour prior to the appointment. If a horse is unsafe to work on, the session will be terminated, and a call-out fee may be charged.
Â
Veterinary Consent:
For horses under veterinary treatment: In line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the 2015 Exemption Order, if your horse is under veterinary supervision, injured, or under the vet for lameness evaluations, we must have prior consent from your vet before providing massage therapy. It is the owners responsibility to obtain this consent, which can be achieved by requesting a vet consent form from us which we can email to you.
Â
For healthy horses: Veterinary consent is not required for routine or maintenance massages on a healthy horse. However, if a problem or lameness is identified during the session, we reserve the right to stop the treatment and refer you to your vet for diagnosis.

Equine Massage Therapy is not a replacement for veterinary care but is used alongside conventional health care, only a vet can give a diagnosis.

If a horse displays undiagnosed lameness or acute pain at the time of the visit, we cannot proceed with the massage.

In such cases, the horse will be referred back to your vet, and a fee of 50% for the call-out and assessment will be applied. If we determine it is unsafe to treat the horse for any reason, including lack of vet consent, the 50% fee remains applicable.
Â
